WHO WE ARE?
The ‘Be a foster parent!’ ( “Legyél nevelőszülő!” ) project is connected to Metropolita Association.
The Metropolita Association was founded by ten friends. We are teachers and marketing specialists. We started to work together in 2008 supporting the most vulnerable among us. We are committed to Christian values.
We have found many areas of life, where help was needed:
Firstly, we started to evangelize in the online space, so we could share the joyful message with more people. Soon, we found out about county Borsod’s less advantaged families. Here we organised pastorate and social care units.
Secondly, the children in the foster care system are extremely vulnerable. We could see that there is not enough foster parent and not enough opportunity for therapeutic programmes. That’s how the ‘be a foster parent’ project was born.
